Last night, I was once again reminded that sometimes doing a kind deed for the wrong type of person can be a bad thing. I don't mind doing things for people. I really honestly don't but I don't like having to repeatedly do it over and over and over again. It would be one thing if the person were like the kids that I work with but not everyone has the difficulties that my kids have. Hence, people need to get off their asses and do for themselves once in while. So I'm ask this question to you, is wrong not help people? What do you think?

Not quite sure what you mean by the "wrong type of person" so I can't comment specifically to your post but I can say doing something nice for someone else always makes me feel better. It can be as simple as letting someone pull out in front of me while driving.

I'm all for helping people out, everyone needs a helping hand now and then.
But there are also people out there who'll take advantage of whatever someone else wants to do for you and never do anything themselves. I think I understand where you're coming from.
