Saturday, I hurt myself. Here is how I did it. I went to get something off the back of my top computer desk shelf. I stood up on my computer chair which isn't the rolling kind. It's actually nice solid dining room table chair. To make a long story short, as I stood up the chair started to tip. I somehow managed to stabilize the chair and stop it from tipping, but I never quite managed to keep myself from falling. Well the good news is that I didn't hit the floor. The bad news is that I hit the wooden arm of the chair. The chair took no damage but I can't say the same about me. I've either bruised my ribs, given myself an internal bruise not associated with my ribs, or I have a slight crack in one. I can breathe just fine but moving in certain direction kind of smarts. The way I look at it is like this, it would cost me $250 dollars to enter the emergency room. It would cost me $50.00 dollars for urgent care. I'm waiting to see what happens. Since I don't get paid whole bunch, I'm giving it time to heal. If it is a bruise, I don't think there is much they can do. If it's a broken rib, I've been told they don't do much for that either. I'm not putting out money in order for them not to do anything for me. It's been hard to sleep comfortably, hard to lift kids out of their wheelchairs at work, and sometimes it's just been hard to move in certain directions. What really sucks is that the pain is on my right side, the side that I normally sleep on. Well, it's late, but I wanted to post something more besides the random rolled question.

Eek, that sounds painful. Yeah, I'd give it a few days too and see how it goes from there. Hope you feel better !
