Was there a teacher or teachers who had a particularly strong influence on your life? What lessons did they teach you? If you were to see them tomorrow, would they be proud of you?
Yeah…there were a few teachers that I owe props too. I'm not going to use their names of course. Mrs M. did her best to encourage me to read and explore the world around me. She also realized that I had a problem with math and sort of set the whole ball moving in getting me help. Mrs. H has had a major life change and has since changed her name, I believe. She was my first LRE ( L.D. ) teacher. She also encouraged me learn and to keep learning. Another Mrs H. instilled in me a love for writing and reading and did it without me realizing it at the time. Doctor G. in college put me my current writing path. She saw something in my writing that I didn't at the time. Mrs. B taught me not just the sciences in college but she gave me a friendship that has lasted for many years.
I can't say that they would all be proud of where my life has taken me. I think each would be proud in their way for me.
