I thought, I would do a post about the interactions that I've had with police since reaching adulthood. I have not had a ton of experiences with police officers so, this may be a short post. The first one that comes to mind is when I thought I had found a pot plant. It was growing near a major road in my town. Looking back, that was stupid of me. It ended up not being weed. I'm sure the officer was laughing his head off about it later. Another experience that I had with police deals with a girl that use to live near me. She decided to try and befriend me, I think. Keep in my mind, I was in my twenties at this time and she was still in high school. With her first phone call, I have to admit that I thought she was a friend from college. Halfway through the phone call, I realized it was her and hung up. The calls continued for quite some time until I had enough. I called the phone company to report a harassment call and then called the police, but because I didn't have an answering machine, I didn't have proof of her calls. The other interaction came when I was getting hired by my current employer. I had to get fingerprinted for my background check. The officer that did it also did a quick check of my criminal history, which was spotless. So yeah, that is my post about my experiences with the police.
