So the question here is are you member of any of these sites? What do you think of the site that you belong to? There has been some debate over these sites being used by professionals. Should professionals have to watch they put on these sites? I have mixed emotions on this one. I think a professional should be able to enjoy being a member of these sites. They should be aware of what they posting, but I don't think that an employer should fire someone for what they've posted. Unless it is a unethical or breaks the laws of their community. Let's face it, there are just some things that shouldn't be posted on any site. No one wants to see you drunk, no one wants to see you or me in a speedo or bikini! If I remember right the last person to come under fire for posting pictures were a couple who took pictures of their iguana feast while on vacation. There was also the teacher who posed with a gun. Which of the two do you think is worse? Oh I forgot to mention that the iguana was an endangered and by cooking it they broke international laws. The teacher in my mind made a stupid decision. I guess the one thing to keep in mind is this, the internet as vast as it is, is growing smaller every day. We need to be aware of where we at when were online. Never assume anything! Above all we need to use the same common sense when on the internet as we would when we are out on the town rather it be partying or shopping.
