One of my memories about growing up were the hours spent watching cartoons. Somehow, it seems like the cartoons of today just don't measure up to the cartoons when I grew up. For the most part, cartoons were on every day. Saturday mornings have always meant cartoons. We enjoyed cartoons from several different networks. We grew up in a household that never had cable. Cartoons could be found during the weekdays on WFLD 32 which is now our local Fox network. WFLD played cartoons for a few hours in the morning, around lunch time, and again after school. ABC, CBS, and NBC had their Saturday line up. Sometimes, I wish I could click on the television and see some of these great cartoons. With some of these cartoons, I'm going to to place a link that will take you to a site, that has some of the themes for many different cartoons.
